Vegan Chocolate Cake With Lindt Chocolate Icing! 

This is so easy and quick to do!


For the cake you will need:
200g self raising flour
150g sugar
1tbs golden syrup
1 tsp baking powder
2 Tbs cocoa powder
150ml vegetable oil
100ml soya milk
2 tsp Vanilla extract

Combine all the ingredients well with a wooden spoon, add a little more milk if the mixture isn’t smooth enough.

Line a cake tin with baking paper and fill in the mixture.

Bake for ca 30mins at 170C (fan). It might need a little longer depending on your oven.

While it’s baking make the chocolate icing with:
2 big tbs of vegetable margarine
200g icing sugar
25g 90% Lindt dark chocolate (melted) any chocolate will do but you might need more and Lindt is the best. (Can’t have too much chocolate!)

Leave the icing to cool a bit in the fridge. Once cake is done let it cool and then cover in icing and put it in the fridge for the icing to set on the cake.
